SEWERS  NEEDED

PROGRESSIVE  DINNER

With the holidays swiftly approaching, calendars are filling up with activities.  Be sure to keep December 7 open for this year's Progressive Dinner.  It’s a great way to fellowship with church members and friends and enjoy a delicious meal together.

The dinner will start at 5:00 p.m. at the home of Dave and Jane Cox with appetizers and salads.  Then we will head off to the home of John and Joyce Fruth for the main course.  Be sure to save room for desserts at the home of Harry and Joan Wray.  Why not carpool with fellow church members for a fun way to travel from home to home?

If you need addresses or directions or even a ride, please don't hesitate to call Joyce Fruth at 459-0478.  You won't want to miss this fun holiday event!

THANK  YOU

Thank you to Christine Phelps, Carrie Bush and their helpers for the delicious meal last Sunday.  Your efforts are appreciated!!

WORK  DAY  AT  CHURCH

Saturday, November 29, beginning at 9:00 a.m. is Fall Work Day at church.  Several jobs need to be done to prepare for the winter months.  Can you give some of your time and energy that morning?  Come when you can and stay as long as you can.  Remember – many hands make light work!

Be A Church Women United Rep

Our local Women’s Fellowship needs a representative to the local Church Women United starting in January.  If there is anyone interested in this opportunity, please contact Christine Phelps at 457-8425 or Jeanne Campbell at 457-1547.  Jeanne can give you details regarding the duties of the representative.

Bloopers

Ladies Bible Study will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m.  All ladies are invited to lunch in the Fellowship Hall after the B.S. is done.

The pastor would appreciate it if the ladies of the congregation would lend him their electric girdles for the pancake breakfast next Sunday.

Low Self Esteem Support Group will meet Thursday at 7:00 p.m.  Please use the back door.

The ladies of the Church have cast off clothing of every kind.  They may be seen in the basement on Friday afternoon.

This evening at 7:00 p.m. there will be a hymn singing in the park across from the Church.  Bring a blanket and come prepared to sin.

The eighth-graders will be representing Shakespeare’s Hamlet in the Church basement Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church.  Please use large double door at the side entrance.

Falling down doesn’t make you a failure, but staying down does.
